Design (For Business Customers)

The actual heart of any networking job is the ability to combine both the industry's top hardware and software solutions to provide the best performance at the best possible price. Our team of experts will piece together every detail of your network's design from hardware (servers & workstations) to the network operating system (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, etc.), to the software that will run on the network.

Design (For Home Users)

TetraSoft will schedule a time to come to your residence, analyze the type of equipment you intend to network, determine the best type of network to install (based on the choices listed in the "Planning" stage above), and then create a custom estimate which can be mailed, e-mailed, or faxed to you. For our home customers, we offer this initial consulting service FREE of charge. Upon acceptance of the proposal, we will schedule a time to return to your home and install the required equipment and complete the network installation. Most wired (ethernet) network installs with 2-5 PCs can be completed within 2 hours. HPNA, Power Line Networks, and Wireless Networks can, in most cases, be completed within 1-1/2 hours.

Equipment Selection (For Business Customers)

Determining the best hardware and software to invest in can be the most difficult decision of designing a network. Though TetraSoft prides itself in building the industry's top servers and workstations using only the highest rated components available, we also support Dell, Gateway, Compaq, HP, and other third party computer manufacturers. We are authorized dealers for many of the industry's largest hardware and software companies, so whatever your need may be, we have the resources to bring everything together.

Equipment Selection (For Home Users)

TetraSoft offers a variety of affordable home networking equipmnent for ethernet networks, HPNA networks, Power Line Networks, and Wireless networks from Linksys, NetGear, and Intel. We can quickly and easily provide you with all the necessary hubs, routers/switches, wireless access points, cabling, and other equipment you may need.

Equipment Installation (For Business Customers & Home Users)

After the decisions have been made about the hardware and software, it will be necessary to install the network and ensure that all components of the network are functioning properly. TetraSoft will provide the technical staff to complete this task and will also provide training for home/business users of the network after the installation.

Administration & Security (For Business Customers)

Day to day maintenance work, which is necessary to maintain any network, is one of the most important aspects to consider, and unfortunately one of the most commonly overlooked. Once a network has been installed, clients will continue to receive the individual attention from the same team of experts that originally installed and configured the equipment. Rapidly evolving technology requires that maintenance be performed on a continual basis to achieve optimal efficiency. TetraSoft will always be up-to-date on the issues that affect the performance of your network hardware and software. We will also take the necessary steps to insure proper security is in place (antivirus software, firewalls, etc.) Please see our service/maintenance contract section for more information on these services.

Administration & Security (For Home Users)

All of the home network routers TetraSoft provides include basic firewall and security features. However, we also offer more advanced software or hardware firewalls to protect your valuable data and ensure that no one obtains unauthorized access to your equipment.
