TetraSoft was created and founded by previous President and C.E.O. Richard G. Davis. Davis, born and raised in Rome, Georgia, had been interested in computers since the age of seven. In 1992, at the age of 14, Davis formed a small software company by the name of TetraSoft. It wasn't until 1996, when Davis graduated from high school, that he began to actively pursue his dream to make TetraSoft his career.

With the help of his father, Gary E. Davis, TetraSoft opened its first retail store in November of 1996. The original goal of the company was to build high performance personal computer systems for home and business use, to sell retail computer components, and to provide computer repair and upgrade services. Davis' focus was to be different from other computer companies. He choose to concentrate on quality and service as the main selling points, unlike other companies who used lesser known computer components and sub-standard service in order to turn a greater profit.

In June of 1997, Simon L. Bell joined TetraSoft. Davis and Bell had been friends throughout high school and shared the same interest in computers. Bell worked with Davis to further nurse the company to growth. In January of 1998, TetraSoft outgrew its original storefront and moved to a larger location. Also in 1998, TetraSoft became a corporation, with Richard G. Davis as President and C.E.O., Simon L. Bell as Vice President, and Gary E. Davis as Vice President. In the same year, Davis also formed a subsidiary company by the name of TetraSoft Web Development, dedicated to producing high quality eCommerce and non-eCommerce business websites. That subsidiary company was later sold to Georgia-based Bowen Technology Associates, Inc. – a large Northwest Georgia Internet service provider and website hosting company.

The company grew so much in the course of the year, that it had to move to an even larger facility. Since that time, TetraSoft had changed its focus to concentrate primarily on personal and business computer service for PCs, Macs and other platforms, networking, consulting and training.

In July of 2002, TetraSoft moved its offices to a fourth location adjacent to the previous building. The new offices provided a state-of-the-art workroom and new equipment to better serve customers.

In May of 2003, TetraSoft became an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Now, in addition to supporting all brands of PCs, TetraSoft began to provide full in-warranty and out-of-warranty support for all Apple Computer products. TetraSoft saw an overwhelming positive response from local and regional Apple customers in Georgia and Alabama.

In September of 2004, Simon Bell left the company and moved with his wife, Shellie Dodd-Bell, to Statesboro, Georgia to complete his degree in Computer Science.

In March of 2006, Richard Davis sold TetraSoft to current President and C.E.O. Michael Endfinger. Though Davis is no longer involved in operations at TetraSoft, he continues to work in the computer field and remains close friends with the TetraSoft family.

Though the original focus of TetraSoft has shifted from retail computer and components sales to a primarily service-based business, the original principles upon which the company was founded have not changed and will never change. We will continue to provide superior service and products to our customers, and we welcome the opportunity to show you what makes us different. Thank you for visiting us online, and we look forward to serving you in the future.
